About the Project
Ir1dian Park 2 at JVC is the second chapter of its most famed residential advancement by the leading Object 1 Developments , with studios, 1 and 2-bedroom apartments in Dubai . The development's name and concept derive from the iridescent, happening-to-play of light on a surface, here interpreted as a residences building built to read as calm during the daylight and quietly iridescent at dusk. The project, deliberately scaled below those around it but rising to a considered ground-plus-podium-plus-five structure, envelops 86 homes spanning a variety of range of residences units over its total release. The fluid flow of the building will ensure that areas where people are gathered and congregate are flooded with natural light and easy to follow. Finish materials throughout the lobby and corridor reflect that same materially nonchalant consideration used throughout the façade. The facade of the building highlights the restrained use of the cladding material that is visible from the street, interrupted by balconies of layers that emphasize the band of greenery and are defined by thin glass balustrades. The balconies are spacious enough to support outdoor furnishings and vegetation and extend outwards in sequenced series to receive light differently throughout the day, on different floors of the building, affording a gentle rhythm to the elevation, rather than a single dominant gesture. This is applied seamlessly at street level where the building welcomes its open street into view at a compatible accessible pace. Whereas the tree-lined sets provide a sense of moderation and ease between the house and the public street line. Inside the styling is equally conservative, appearing in a more tactile and warmer mode. Dominating the lobby is a feature wall, fluted in dark timbers and accented by light stone panelling. With a bespoke walnut-toned bookshelf housing objects and books around a low, sculptural marble-top coffee table, which is surrounded by pendant geometric style lights made of glass and brass. A feature wall fluted in dark timbers with light stone panelling frames a low, sculptural marble-top coffee table, topped with a collection of geometric style glass and brass pendant lighting, enveloped by sculpted sofas in soft, white and moss-green velvet. Charred glass flows on the wall to a private landscaped garden, whilst an open timber shelving wall matches the clubhouse's exterior in the neutral. The texture-rich colour palette, while sheer curtains are layered and layered in the same colour story to define the rooms, creating a feel of considered residence over generic amenity room. Lined in warm timber slat screening and planted greenery, and looking onto the pool deck directly through glazing, the gym looks ready for use with a different emphasis. Whilst the special child play room is outfitted in olive green joinery, a round soft grey rug and an activity sculptural wall, with all the facilities around the pool deck designed to feel as inviting as the child-focused spaces.
